Tomorrow is “Seijin no hi” or Coming-of-age Day which honors young people who have reached the age of 20 as new members of society.
The ceremony was held today at B-con Plaza. The picture was taken in front of B-con plaza. There were many young women who were dressed in Japanese traditional Kimono Furisode, literally translated as swinging sleeves.
The people who have reached the age of twenty get the right to vote, drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes.
